Arati Bechtel joins sascom voices to share news and ideas as a new member of the JMP marketing team. JMP makes software for dynamic data visualization that integrates seamlessly with SAS.

In December 2007, Arati started her job as a writer at JMP after a stint as the lead copy editor for SAS. Before SAS, she worked as a journalism professor and a newspaper writer. As part of her job at JMP, she’s enjoying the opportunity to play around with JMP software and explore all kinds of data.

“My dad is a statistician, and he’s thrilled beyond belief that I’ve returned to the world of numbers and stats!” Arati says.
